Daydreaming – memories in your mind

Hope you all had a good weekend, wrapped up and all snug. I took the opportunity of a relatively free weekend to chill out, do some sewing, catch up and relax with friends and family (as well as meeting a lovely couple!) and to revisit some images in photoshop. I had spent time chatting to Mark about how memories look in your mind when you think about them, and for me they are always in slow motion, like a flick book of individual pictures, flickering by and usually in monotones or very faded colours. I also find that my mind mixes the images together, almost blurring the frames and I wanted to create an image that reflected this. On a busy wedding morning in all of the excitement and fizz it is easy for the small details to fade into the bigger moments over time, which is why I am always drawn to capture these little heart beat of a happening, freezing those memories in time.

How do memories look in your mind’s eye as time puts distance between you and them?

I’d love to know if anyone thinks like I do!!

Have a great week,
