Earlier in the year, I was invited to submit images to a project that would see them supersized and installed in Augustine House at Caterbury Christ Church University. There were a selection of images that were exhibited for staff to vote for their favourites and this is the first of four to be installed. It is so exciting to see my work in such supersized print!

This image is from a series of images taken on the hottest October Day on record, 1st October 2011 and you can see the full collection here. It was a totally magical evening, to be stood bare foot in Margate harbour watching children lark in the sea at past 6pm in October and to be treated to one of the warmest sunsets I have ever seen. One of the images was featured in the August Edition of Kent Life this year.
