When Lisa booked me to be part of her big ’40′ party and photo booth I was really excited about the theme. She had planned a 1940s street party at a very lovely village hall in Canterbury. We’d talked about making a bespoke backdrop and I had my eyes peeled for months to get the perfect vintage ditsy floral pattern. When I found the fabric, I just knew! Lisa had spent time sourcing a lot of the props to really theme the booth and loved the back drop when I showed her! When I arrived at the hall it was like stepping back in time, bunting and war effort posters and tables laid out in street party rows. It was such a fun night to shoot and we created some really lovely memories of such a great party.
