When I looked out the window this evening, the whole of the snow cover was glistening like a dusting of glitter had been spilt. It was just so uplifting and beautiful to see. So I grabbed my off camera flash set up and macro lens which is great for getting up close and personal with small things and went to see what I could capture. I could not see any of the tiny details, even through the view finder, so I was shooting blind. When I got back in the warm and uploaded the shots I was gobsmacked. I’d managed to capture the snow flakes in the most intricate detail. So as the fun of the snow passes and it freezes over ready to reap havoc, just remember that nature is very clever and shows this in the tiniest of details.
