How are we in February? Where did January go?! One of my new year’s resolutions was to take more pictures on the go and enjoy the ease of my iPhone camera and that addictive instagram app!
January started with a family lunch on NYD & my granddad enjoyed his traditional pint of Guinness . I was working on the lovely NYE wedding edit & when it was done rewarded myself with a rare bit of pampering & had a pedicure. We had afternoon tea with my gramps and Grimmy bought me roses! Mark and I also found time to play our saxes together too.
As shocked as I was to see mini eggs in the shops, I couldn’t resist! My wonderful cousin sent me some cool screen prints in the post (he’s the one who designed the logo font for me). I’ve been planning some sessions to teach the Photography students too and had the great news that my brother got his GSCE maths a year and a half early.
Some much needed RnR took place with my uni girls at our reunion in Bristol, the weekend consisted of a lot of wine and tea drinking. When I got home Mark had made bread! I also braved the outdoor swimming pool at my gym…..it is heated and is a beautiful place to be at sunrise!
Then the first lot of snow arrived in Ramsgate and so did crisp days and blue skies in Canterbury with lots of snuggles with Misu and epic £3 breakfasts in the student cafe (love teaching in Broadstairs!)
More snowy ‘scapes across Kent and bokehlicious fun with my Lensbaby.
The snow stayed on the ground for Burns Night which gave it a sprinkling of Scottish authenticity as we prepared for our party.
Our Burns Weekend was so much fun with some patriotic PJs I liked my Union Jacks uniting the boys’ tartan ones! My month rounded up at Photography Farm and covering a magazine shoot for County Weddings Magazine. On the way back I stopped at Ikea and enjoyed people watching (evil – mwahahaha as I’ve been here before) seeing folk try and pack their car like a game of tetris!!
Here’s to a great February,
